About this service
At Esculap-Vet a consultation is never a formality. We assess general condition, temperature, mucous membranes, heart and lungs, abdomen, skin and coat. We measure blood pressure in every animal, not only in heart patients.
If further tests are needed, we run them on site: our own laboratory, digital radiography, colour Doppler ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy, all in one clinic. That way diagnosis and treatment can often start the same day.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
We recommend calling ahead so we can set aside enough time. Emergencies are seen first during opening hours.
What should I bring to the first consultation?
Your pet’s vaccination record (passport), results of any previous tests and a list of the medicines your pet is taking. Please bring cats in a carrier and dogs on a lead.
Should my pet fast before the visit?
Not for a regular consultation. If you expect blood tests, an abdominal ultrasound or sedation, it is best not to feed your pet for 8–12 hours beforehand. Water is fine.
