About this service
Unlike classic film X-rays, the digital system shows the image on screen within minutes. The vet can zoom in, adjust the contrast and measure structures, such as heart size or joint angles.
On request we also perform contrast studies, including cystography and urography, to assess the urinary tract and the digestive tract.

Frequently asked questions
Is an X-ray dangerous for my pet?
The radiation dose in a diagnostic exam is small, and the digital system usually needs a lower exposure than classic film.
Will my pet need sedation?
Most of the time, no. Light sedation may be needed for very anxious animals or those in pain, to position them correctly.
